To achieve the best results, we recommend using additional clamps to secure the mold to your flat work surface. Simply clamp your wood piece to your table to remove flex from the mold and ensure your project cures perfectly flat every time.

Recommended Epoxy

For best performance, we recommend using EcoPoxy FlowCast deep pour epoxy.

Deep-pour epoxy resins cure slowly and work best with HDPE molds.
Please note: Tabletop or shallow-pour epoxies are not recommended, and using them may void the mold warranty.

Do You Need Mold Release?

Short answer: Optional, but recommended.

Our molds are made from HMWPE (High Molecular Weight Polyethylene), which naturally prevents high-quality slow-curing epoxy from sticking. Once your project is fully cured, simply tap the sides and bottom of the mold to release your piece.

However, using a mold release agent can help:

• Extend the lifespan of your mold

• Make demolding even easier

• Reduce wear from repeated pours

• Provide extra protection when using other brands of resin

We strongly recommend using mold release when working with epoxy brands that we do not sell on our website.
